Career Fair

Yesterday was Career Fair at JMU. I got all dressed up in a suit and went around to talk to "professionals" about acquring the all important "good job" after college. There were tons of strategies about how to attack Career Fair: research ahead of time so you know what you want, look at all of one type of business, talk to the hottest womens, or talk to the people with the best treasures. The lepprechaun inside of me took over and went for the treasures, and it worked! I got some pretty good leads for jobs, however, I also learned that recruiters are very adept at very little, other than saying, "Here's our facts sheet, go on to our website for more information". I don't remember most of the companies I talked to, but the treasures I have retained all have company names on them, so I should be ok. Next step in the job process is to get some interviews.

This is what career fair looked like, everyone in suits.
DISCLAIMER: Brad, Jason, and Chris Cooley did not attend career fair.
