GRADUATION!!!
Today is graduation day for the Fall 2008 semester. I've finally finished my masters after a year and a half of craziness. I am all done with school, completely. As I continue to hunt for jobs, my posts on here will become even more infrequent than what they already are. This might even be the last post ever for this blog, and I might just build a new one when the opportunity arises since this was only meant to be an interrim blog anyway. Oh, well. This is also my last post from the internet in Harrisonburg, and while Harrisonburg will be missed, it is time to move on to a new location for the next part of the great adventure called life.

Oops
so when i originally created this blog i had every intention of posting very frequently, as you can tell by earlier posts. however, one thing leads to another and i also stopped doing randomly fun things to blog about. such is life. anyways, graduation is a mere 10 days away, and then i will have completed my MBA!!! um thats probably more exciting for me than most of you readers, but you get to hear about it. i have a final tonight in quant, and i cannot make myself study. it sucks. i have been putting it off for so long, but at least my cheat sheet is done. all i have left to do is do the example problems from class and rock it out. on that note, i will go study and try to post more frequently my last 12 days in harrisonburg.

End of WoW
Today, at 8:34 PM, I canceled my subscription to World of Warcraft. I just do not play anymore. I may pick up the game after Christmas when I move out on my own, who knows. For now, I am done though.

NOVA Trip
Saturday I went to NOVA for the day to visit my good friend Paul Bleau for his birthday. I have a McAlister's store meeting at 9am Sunday, so I did not stay the night for his party, sadly. The day trip was fun nonethe less. I arrived in Herndon at abotu 10 am and met up with the Minirussian for coffee at Starbucks. It was delicious and warm. At 11 I went over to the Sasala Complex and I was pleasantly surprised to see Ray Sasala, Jason's dad. Ray is one of the two guys tied for Coolest Man in NOVA, the other being Scot Nadeau. Ray and I caught up on old times, and Jason was jealous because Ray likes me better, but then he left. So I ran up to Paul's room to jump on his bed, but he was already awake. Instead I gave him a big hug and picked him and swung him around. Stooby was still drunk from the night before and slower at waking up. We watched some old internet movie clip favorites and looked at Jason's Dominican Republic pictures before going to the number 1 family vacation destination: RESTON TOWN CENTER!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's right, I got to go to Reston Town Center, or RTC for short. I cannot say enough positive things about RTC, so I will not talk it up any further. We hung out by a fountain in which I tried to deposit Stooby. We walked around the new RTC and found a fountain that has jets of water that shoot up, very similar to the movie Blank Check, but smaller. Stooby would not run through the jets of water. Also, according to Stoobes, I have those little knives in my shoe that pop out and I used them to slice his achilles heel. We went to a new restaurant called Jackson's, where they have a bar that has a covered outside patio thing, and this place was really cool. We all grabbed a beer outside and just chilled for a bit. We went to Oktober Fest next to Clydes (formerly the $9 mojito place, but now I know the name). Oktober Fest was not as exciting as it looked initially, so we left for the Sasala complex. By now the afternoon was practically spent, so I sadly said my goodbyes and returned to Hburg.

Starting off October Right!
So last night, the night of October 4th, I took Eddy and Zephan, or as I like to call them, Edward and Zohan, on an adventure. These 2 dudes are part of the Goon Squad/Goonies/Children of the Corn, and I will refer to them for the duration of this post as the COC. We drove off down Main st. going south, away from civilization towards Bridgewater. We get to where you turn for BW, but then Eddy had to crap, so we stopped at the Burger King/gas station. Eddy took forever because townied were using the toilet first. We finally get over the townie toilet obstacles and proceed towards old town Bridgewater and find a creepy street called, Old Bridgewater Rd. So, we pluck up enough courage, and away we go. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but fog is very mysterious in BW, as it comes and goes randomly, and lasts all of about 3 seconds depending on where you are. So we finally get on the regular BW road and coast through their college, returning to normalcy. I then decide it's time to put an end to the mystery of the "lighthouse" light in the middle of a field out in the BW area. We head off in hopefully the right direction and eventually see signs that point the way. After years of pondering what this mysterious light means, and what is around it, the COC and I finally solved the mystery.
And no, I will not reveal my secrets here.
